I was recommended this book by a fellow dog lover and I just love-love-love Maggie, and the fact some of the chapters are written from her point-of-view. So the story craid Scott and Maggie is right in his wheelhouse suspect robert crais the two damaged creatures forming a bond.

And Maggie learns about his new ‘Alpha’, suwpect mood, his body language. I liked the stuff about how the dog thinks and how her nose works. That aspect of Maggie in the frontlines with her handler just about tore my heart out.

He may be all about saving the world and avenging his dead partner Stephanie, but Maggie Girl is all about him. While I am a cat lady, I also love dogs, and this book made me long to suspect robert crais home my very own German Shepherd Dog one day soon. The fact that one of the individuals is a German Shepherd makes no difference at all.

The spotlight really shone on Maggie and what an extraordinary soldier she was.
