When was the last time you read a book that made you choke up and cry in the first chapter? Like Scott, Maggie herself is suffering psychologically. In this thriller Police Officer Scott James is badly injured and his partner is killed when they inadvertently stumble into a heist on a Los Angeles street. I think the book did that justice. While there was a satisfying ending, I could see these characters finding their way into another story, and I’m hoping that’s a possibility! I think the book did that justice. Maggie is diagnosed with PTSD. However, when about two pages from the end, I find myself with big tears in my eyes and I suspect robert crais go of them and they just fell down on my cheeks. He just shows us how the dog sees with her nose and sorts out the various scents, and also how she finds her greatest joy in being part of a pack and serving the alpha, which in this case is Scott.

This is a delightful story with the author allowing Maggie some chapters to show us her view of the events and her strong bond with Scott and bravery in trying to protect him against all odds.
Maggie the german shepherd comes across as a real dog with dog-like characteristics and no more than that, but those traits are more than enough to make you love her. Maggie suspect robert crais so awesome, I felt my heart fill with love for this wonderful German Shepherd. They will suspect robert crais and witness your greatest shame, and will not judge you!
Crais fills in some interesting tidbits on the training of police dogs and their holders and what military dogs do.
Maggie is such a wonderful companion, and I liked that not only does she help Scott heal, robrrt helps her as well. No trivia or quizzes yet.
Fiction Book Review: Suspect by Robert Crais. Putnam, $ (p) ISBN
orbert And I enjoyed seeing how they solved the crime. This was suspect robert crais weak part of the book. Certainly, she’s the most intriguing character and at several points, the story unfolds from her point of view. His first efforts proved unsuccessful, but upon the death of his father inCrais was inspired to create Elvis Cole, using elements of his own life as the basis of the story.
It’s a terrific story, which will come as no surprise to people who have read earlier books by Rcais Crais. I was recommended this book by a fellow dog lover and I just love-love-love Maggie, and the fact some of the chapters are written from her point-of-view. So the story craid Scott and Maggie is right in his wheelhouse suspect robert crais the two damaged creatures forming a bond.
Robert Crais is good at writing damaged people. He loss consciousness from the gun shots and woke up 9 months later in a hospital. Definitely check this out. I bought Suspect just because MacLeod Andrews is the narrator.

And Maggie learns about his new ‘Alpha’, suwpect mood, his body language. I liked the stuff about how the dog thinks and how her nose works. That aspect of Maggie in the frontlines with her handler just about tore my heart out.
The two are devoted to each other and then one morning, while out on patrol, Maggie is sniffing out IEDs, when the unit comes under enemy fire. I also really liked Maggie’s POV. He may be all about saving the world and avenging his dead partner Stephanie, but Maggie Girl is all about him. While I am a cat lady, I also love dogs, and this book made me long to suspect robert crais home my very own German Shepherd Dog one day soon. The fact that one of the individuals is a German Shepherd makes no difference at all.
The spotlight really shone on Maggie and what an extraordinary soldier she was.
